Identity

How you see yourself defines how you deal with the world and life. Your image can be your god, or you can decide to smash the idol and see what happens.

There is the inner image and the outer image. To be a whole person these 2 must flow, need to be congruent to be integrated.

Salaam Shaykh Ibrahim
Your blog brought to mind a few quotes;
"Wheresoever ye turn, there is the Face of Allah. Verily Allah is the Infinitely Vast, the Infinitely Knowing II:115

"There is no refuge from Allah except in Him" IX:118 which recalls the Holy Tradition: 'La ilaha illa 'Llah is My fortress, and whoso entereth My fortress is safe from Mine anger.'

and lastly; "After extinction I came out and I Eternal now am, though not as I, Yet who am I, O I, but I?" Shustari

Dearest Shaykh Irbrahim,

How very important to understand identity our truth of “self “ know that there is nothing but Allah, and letting this be shown through out our journey here.
Thinking of all the ways we show our selves show Allah in our days.

Those smiles that come deep, the hand that reaches up with out effort to assist, a comment that brings Joy to the face of another.

To be of our “true” identity is allowing this to be the consent where nothing will break this rope. Like all the rays of our Sun shining coming from the same source yet distinct in it’s direction.
We are each rays of this one light.
We can be fractured and defused by this world get our source remains the same.

Thanks for this moment to reflect and be of this light.

Loving arms stretch across this planet
